Our Story
Nava Design Co. was born from a desire to create beautiful spaces that mimic the calm energy of nature. Our journey began with a vision to merge organic design with the practical needs of growing families. We specialize in creating homes that feel like a sanctuary. We also create custom play spaces because we believe that every corner of a home should inspire wonder and joy. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that a beautiful, functional home is the foundation for deep emotional connection. We create intentional environments that help families strengthen bonds by ensuring every design choice supports the heart of their home.
Meet the Designer
My name is Romeo Nava and I am the owner of Nava Design Co. I am a husband and father of 2 little ones. They are my support and my inspiration for this dream of mine. I love spending time with family, being active, enjoying nature and designing home projects.
Since I was a child I can remember borrowing my grandfather's tools and nailing pieces of wood together. I was fascinated by construction and being able to build something with my hands. Later in life, I watched my mom design her own houses and my passion grew more. In high school, I took a 2 year carpentry program and was convinced I should pursue my passion. Unfortunately, due to chronic back pain I was unable to pursue a career in construction.
Fast forward to 2023, my wife and I bought our first house and it was a fixer upper. I took on the large renovation as the General Contractor and the Designer with no experience. With the help of my in-laws we transformed an old, dated house into our new home and my passion was re-ignited.
In late 2025, I purchased my first flip property as an investor. This was my first opportunity to do a complete rehab and design of my own project. I really enjoyed the process of designing and building a beautiful home from beginning to end. After finishing this project, I knew that creating beautiful spaces is what I wanted to dedicate myself to.
